Melissa Suzanne George is an model, actress, businesswoman, inventor, and model who hails from Australia. She's enjoyed a prosperous career since arriving in Australia. George is a native of Perth in Western Australia, was originally interested in dance and roller-skating with artistic flair. At the age of a teenager, George began modeling, and was awarded Western Australia's top model for teens of the year in 1992. Her first screen appearance was the seventh episode of Seven Network's Soap Opera Home and Away the year immediately following. Her big screen debut was with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included supporting roles on projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005 she made her first major Hollywood appearance in The Amityville Horror remake. She's currently among Hollywood's most sought-after Australian ex-pats. George, as an entrepreneur, has launched her own company Style Snaps on the market.
